CALOOCAN CITY, TO HOST A PHOTO EXHIBIT FOR PWD’S
The City of Caloocan is set to host a photo exhibit entitled “10 Goals To Make the Right Real: A Photo Exhibit on the Incheon Strategy for PWD’s”.
Chosen by the Presidential Communications Operations Office, Caloocan will hold the public exhibit from April 26 to May 3, 2018 at the lobby of Caloocan City Hall.
“The City of Caloocan gives great importance to the PWDs and we see them as our equals when it comes to being a positve force towards the city’s growth. We aim for the improvement of their lives and equal treatment for them within the society. The exhibit will be an eye-opener for our netizens on the goals that we have to meet in order to make a brighter future for PWDs," said Caloocan Mayor Oscar *OCA* Malapitan.
Hosting the said exhibit that is set to showcase the photographs relating to the Incheon Strategy for PWD’s in the Philippines is a part of Caloocan's untiring support on the campaign towards PWD rights and awareness, in-line with the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and the Optional Protocol and to the Ministerial Declaration on the Asian and Pacific Decade of Persons with Disabilities, 2013-2022.
